Behind the Scenes of Our Very First Box

Behind the Scenes of Our Very First Box

Hi everyone :)

I can't believe that our edition is finally out for the world to see! I read Enigma on Christmas of 2024 (certainly not your typical holiday romance) way before it was published and I was bursting at the seams trying to contain my excitement. The story contained the perfect dose of murder, intrigue, dark academia, secret societies, and Cazimir van der Waal.

Going into the cover design, I wanted something that represented Caz's art. His paintings intrigued me (I wish I could see them in real life to admire his work), and so I decided to go the route of doing an illustrated cover that looked like it could be one of his paintings.

Our girl Salem is obsessed with death - so I also wanted the cover to hint at scenes and themes in the book that focused the murder mysteries that are in the book. Without being too spoiler-y, both the front and back covers are nods to the more suspenseful parts of the book. The midnight and full moon vibes are exactly what I envisioned. I couldn't be more pleased with how the cover art turned out!

The last thing I just have to point out for those who haven't swooned over it long enough: the hand placement. I'm a hands girl and OOF 😍🙂↕️

Last but not least, don't forget to join our Discord to discuss Enigma once it comes out!

Until next time,

Gigi <3
